Louis Ellman and Christine Kulaka started training together in May, 2004 and became AdvanceTo Corporation officially in January 2005.
Christine Kulaka, President and Founder, began word processing in 1984 for a fiberoptics company in Brooklyn, NY and went on to work for corporate banks such as JP Morgan Securities and law firms such as Cadwalader Wickersham and Taft, Brown & Wood and Winthrop Stimpson. She first began as a secretary then later became a legal assistant, a word processing operator, conversion specialist, IT trainer and legal IT help desk while attending school for physics and engineering. In addition to office support, she began mentoring young women in an after school technology program and became a teacher for continuing education in mathematics to adults at New York City Technical College (CUNY).
Louis Ellman, first started teaching word processing using Wang in the mid '80's and has worked in many top law firms as a secretary, legal assistant, word processing operator, coordinator, supervisor and training support for many firms such as Orrick Herrington & LeBeouf Lamb.
Together they have successfully trained and help place thousands of secretaries and word processing operators in addition to providing customized office training to professionals, business owners, high school and college students, professors and individuals in the private sector with office training.
